Our backpacks were well and truly filled with warm clothing when we left on 25 February for the way up to the igloo village high above Gstaad. After quite a bumpy ride by cable car we finally reached our destination "Saanerslochgrat". First a warm-up with a steaming mug of hot spiced wine at the snow bar and a splendid view over the top of the Bernese Overland.
